[Meta Rec] Blaine & Depression

I think this is one of the best write ups of Blaine's character I've read. It's also an excellent write up of the experience of depression. Without getting into TMI-land, I have a long, complicated history with depression, and Blaine really pings me as a fellow sufferer. I don't know that he's had a major episode yet, but the signs are all there that he will.
I nearly wrote a thing about Blaine and depression yesterday, because it's a difficult point in my writing in my big fic presently. But this essay helped clear my head, so I'll just say "What lookninja's said" and point. This line resonates with me particularly strongly (it's one of the metaphors I frame the illness with in my head): "Depression is a war" It's good Blaine is a fighter.
