Partly for my own edification.

This one opens at the front busk, Kurt's does not, but it's the same general idea.

some in color, all warm with early summer evening sun at sharp angles. Some maybe in B&W. Or, in brighter, starker morning sunlight with the window mullions making a graph of shadow.

Golly, you paint pretty pictures, too. *rolls around in them*

It's never going to happen (because it would be a completely different show, but) I'd also love to see Kurt in D.C. with his Dad.

And your completely different show shall be penned by Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin dialogue in Colfer's mouth: god, please. [personal profile] wordplay was working on such a thing at one point – an AU in which Kurt never spied on the Warblers, failed to get into NYADA, and spent a year in DC before meeting Blaine at Oberlin.

I guess one thing a year in politics would do to him, for good or for ill, would be to teach him how to compromise. (*eyeballs Congress* Then again...maybe not this election cycle....) It would be interesting to see how he handled it, because it's generally a thing Kurt's terrible at. He's an all-or-nothing kind of guy, compromise a hard word and harder act. Understandable, honestly, when you consider how many times in the past it's boiled down to someone asking Kurt to compromise himself.

I'm also thinking Kurt might get Brittany in on the photography as well, so he could model for some of the shots, too.

Ho ho, you think Blaine's going to let Kurt get away with staying behind the camera? At first Kurt tries to stick to that coy Scarlett O'Hara impression of his while wearing his favourite Marc Jacobs, and they put up with it for a while. Eventually they manhandle him into some different clothes, and tease and tug him into a sulky Jimmy Dean slouch, a few spontaneous fits of laughter (Blaine is not above tickling), and one day a staged scene in the Andersons' parlour, with Kurt looking Mr. Darcyish in formal morning dress, sipping tea while staring out a tall picture window. Behind him, Tina peruses a newspaper, with her elegant feet propped on...Mike, who is playing ottoman with flawless posture, though he also has the morning paper open on the floor in front of him, one hand poised to turn the page. It's a bitch to light, but the results leave them all a little bit in shock.

I think it's funny that I see comments about Blaine's outfits (frequently critical), but almost never read anyone talking about Mike's clothes.

I know, right? I don't always think Blaine's clothes are flattering, but I do think they convey exactly what the costumers mean them to. Mike, meanwhile, is so laid back and low key that nobody notices he's cooler than any of them.

did you see the shoot Harry did for GQ Japan?

Yes. Babe.
