I just imported my livejournal, which has resulted in a lot of duplicate entries, and, I expect, broken links, but I wanted to preserve comments & conversations on those old posts. Urf. Everything's backdated, so it shouldn't be messing up reading lists.

Wow, it really does! Excellent onomatopoetics. :D The word is, I believe, a coinage of Stephen Colbert from when he did his show while sick with some sort of rhino virus or flu.

For me, it describes the horrible useless mangled brain state I get from taking decongestants containing phenylephidrine hydrochloride (the far less effective thing that replaced pseudoephidrine when cooking meth from it became more of a public health issue). I've developed a hellacious juniper pollen allergy, but managed to get an antihistamine + decongestant that contains the old stuff. The downside is now I can't sleep! And I'm kind of hypomanic (probably because of the sleeplessness):P But I can breathe, and that's good. \o/
