status update

Travel is complete. Jet lag is zombie-fying. Might take me a few days to get myself back into a routine including online communications & stuff. Voting tomorrow though!! Yay! I missed the last General Election because my overseas ballot didn't get mailed, so I am very happy and excited to be voting tomorrow. \o/ Also, Glee on Thursday!

Misqueue, I've missed you! So I'm looking at the 2,000 LJ emails in my inbox and thinking, "I haven't seen anything from Misqueue for awhile." Sad face. Then I check my archives and am shocked to see it's been so long since I last wrote anything. I could have sworn it was just a couple weeks ago - at the most - that I was wishing you safe travels. And then, here you were. Happy face!

I, too, have no real excuses except time getting away from me and being horribly unorganized for some reason. I do hope the holidays were wonderful for you!

I read the last chapter of "In The World of Silence". It is absolutely beautiful. And stunning. And it made me cry. I'm still a little overwhelmed. I'm going to leave a better review at the chapter.

This hiatus has allowed for a distancing from the Klaine situation for awhile and I'm grateful for the breather after all the stress of eps 4-10. Of course "distancing" is a relative term as I can't not read spoilers & discussions on the various forums I check regularly. I'm so happy to see you say this season of Glee has been amazing. Overall, I'm enjoying it a lot (heartbreak aside) and it's annoying when all people want to do is constantly complain about the show. Wanna know a secret? I really liked season 3, too.

Believe it or not, it was Saturday when I started this and now I'm well into Sunday. Easily distracted, I should add that to unorganized. I look forward to discussing all the upcoming eps with you. Well, discussing/commiserating ;) All the best wishes for you for the new year!

2,000 LJ emails is a lot! I'm glad you found my last message, and I'm really happy to hear from you, too! :D I've been tangled up on Tumblr a lot, which is awesome and fun and there are so many smart wonderful people only over there, but it moves so fast for my poor brain, and I always feel overwhelmed. I've been missing hanging out with you and other lj peeps, having slightly more sedately paced, easier to track conversations!

I'm really happy you found the update, thrilled you enjoyed it, and gosh, did I cry when I typed "the end". They were the hardest two words in the whole damned thing! I look forward to reading your thoughts. :)

Gosh, I'm so glad you're enjoying S4 too. The constant bitching about the writing in some parts of 'fandom' I find so tedious. I think the writing, set dressing, costuming--everything--has been wonderfully tight in a way S3 wasn't quite, though I definitely loved Season 3 too! The pacing is different this season somehow. It's hard for me to put a finger on it, but I like it. The episodes are as riotous and full as ever, but they feel less cramped. IDK. Maybe it's me.

Anyway, I am rambling a bit. I do hope you're having a relaxing weekend! I look forward to more conversations. Happy New Year. <3
