I'm behind with comments and stuff again. I haven't forgotten you guys! 4x04 really derailed my brain. I'm currently doing edits on ITWOS trying to get my head back into the story so I can finish the epilogue, with which I'm horribly stuck. I have been writing, but a 12,000 word draft of a 4x04 reaction fic isn't what I've meant to be doing. Also tumblr is distracting.

I'm leaving to go back to the US for a few months in less than two weeks. I have to get this done before I travel.

Oh, Brain, you drive me insane.

Haha! I've heard alcohol does help some writers, but all it ever does for me is make me sleepy and even more unfocused. Though, admittedly, I usually drink wine. Spirits might be different. At any rate, it's too early in the day for me here to break out the liquor; I'm still on my coffee! :D

(The last person I betaed for wrote this fantastic 500-word aside (about Roy Mustang being confused by small children...) and shot it to me in an email, saying, "I really love this, but I think I should leave it out; it's really self-indulgent." Naturally, I told her, "You're right, it is awesome. IF YOU CANNOT BE SELF-INDULGENT IN FANFIC, WHERE THE HELL CAN YOU BE?" *sings at you:* Bring me your poor, your tired, your overwrought and soppy!)

*helplessly laughing* You are awesome and totally right. ♥ I needed the reminder. I always end up tripping over myself when I start taking things too seriously. Fanfic is srs! :P

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were when I saw this post. Three weeks later and 4.04 is still resonating with me so I totally get how you feel. I'm sorry you're stuck on the ITWOS epilogue. Sending you good thoughts, warm fuzzies and hug - just because :)

This hiatus has been brutal. The not knowing what the heck is going on with those boys is terrible. I think Finn/Rachel and Santana/Brittany got closure, but not Kurt/Blaine, which is problematic for my evolving head-canon headspace. I'm still hoping it's a good sign. It's just hard to know what to do with the lack of information. Not that I don't appreciate narrative tension, but... /blather

I hear you, dear misqueue, on the hiatus thing. There does seem to be little real info floating around outside of cast tweets. I would expect something in a week or so since the hiatus was so long and Fox would need to remind people the show is still on. Have you seen this?:

Now, normally I pay no attention to "Wetpaint" because they just recycle & repackage stories but they were actually interviewing him at an event he attended with Ryan Murphy. So, yeah... there's some info from Chris Colfer. There's also some youtube videos floating around of him and Ryan being interviewed at that event and Ryan talks about "breaking up the couples". Ryan is not on a campaign to win many friends, apparently. ;)

Also, there's a tumblr, 'Glee Out! Brasil', that has been cranking out spoilers like crazy. Why Brasil? Where are they getting their info from? Are they reliable? How do they know so much? These questions come to mind immediately. They did a q&a last week and are doing one one Tue the 30th. I've seen their stuff posted on a forum I read and their spoilers seem plausible. Their song spoilers are usually spot-on. They do answer questions consistently. On the other hand, Brasil?,really? Anyhoo, here's a linky in case you want to check it out. I think things will work out for K&B - eventually. Whether it's in the next 6 episodes (til the next hiatus) is the issue. Is there a part of you that says, "what the h*ll is wrong with me that this tv show is it taking up so much space in my brain?!". Or is that just me?

Oh no springbay. Not just you, believe me. And now I don't just have the show but also (admittedly awesome) fanfics too. This has become a serious addiction. Sneaking, losing work and sleep and such. Ugh.

Misqueue darling, glad to hear from you! And to learn that you updated @ AO3! Downloaded already, but as you'd guess I still can't reread this. Not at this moment, not without having at least the faintest clue where are we heading regarding these two. Your Klaine is so compelling, at this point I frankly fear them. :)

Oh crush_onyou...I so meant to reply sooner but was catching up on the fanfics. And the discussion groups/forums and everything tumblr throws out. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's found this "glee" world to be a serious addiction. Sometimes I wonder how did I get here (Darren/Blaine/Klaine, mostly) and how will I get out (therapy?). I so get what you're saying about the sneaking and especially the losing sleep as I'm writing this at 4:30am. It's nice to have someone to commiserate with, who understands, out there in cyberspace.

Hi again misqueue! I agree it's been really hard to digest this s4e4, and all the waiting does not help at all. I've been reading, and although there's a lot of angst and even hate around this, I've found a fic that helped me relax a little about their immediate future.
