Hi! I'm sorry for being so late with a reply. I've been madly writing, trying to get this story done before the premiere. I'm not sure if I'll make it, but I'm doing my best. :)

And Blaine boxing... really glad you enjoyed that too. I've seen a lot of fics making it all sexy and stuff, so I wanted to go in a different direction with it. That essay of lookninja's is some of my most favorite Blaine meta. He was just--to my eyes--crumbling around the edges in the back half of season 3. We had glimpses before that of course, that maybe something wasn't quite right, but it wasn't wholly apparent as a serious problem until he sang "Cough Syrup" and then we got "Big Brother". I'm so looking forward to Blaine getting some more development in S4.
I hope he doesn't need to take Carole up on her offer either, but I feel like the Hummel-Hudsons must have a door-always-open policy for their kids' friends and Sig O's.
Aaand, Mercedes! It was so much fun writing them reconnecting. They've been through a lot, and forgiven a lot, so I was happy they were being buddies again late in S3.
...I pictured it all in my mind, complete with background violins...
Wow, I have to say, I'm completely flattered and thrilled that the ending of this part was that evocative for you! Yay. I was aiming for a sort of grand romantic gesture sort of feel. :)
