Thank you! Gosh, I'm stunned--in the best possible way--that this story is making favorites' lists. I am always, always so happy to hear that my characterization is working, especially with this set during the series.

...the connection between Finn and Blaine and how much it means to Kurt

I'm really glad you enjoyed this scene. I love to see Kurt, who was so alone at the start of Glee, have so much love in his life now, and I feel like the Hummel-Hudsons have become Blaine's family in some important ways that Blaine lacks with his own; and I think Kurt understands this, and it means a lot to him, too.

...being able to see our Season 2 Blaine a little bit.

Yes. I love the supportive/mentoring aspect of Blaine's character so much. We do see him a bit in S3, but moreso in his public persona, I guess? As much as I have loved getting to see Blaine in his more vulnerable moments with Kurt over S3, I've missed getting more moments of him supporting Kurt through difficult stuff.

I think it's going to be two more parts, but I anticipate wanting to keep going in this 'verse with little sequels or side fics and whatnot, so hopefully there will be more even after I've typed 'the end' on this one. :)
