status update

Travel is complete. Jet lag is zombie-fying. Might take me a few days to get myself back into a routine including online communications & stuff. Voting tomorrow though!! Yay! I missed the last General Election because my overseas ballot didn't get mailed, so I am very happy and excited to be voting tomorrow. \o/ Also, Glee on Thursday!

Misqueue darling, I just have to ask is everything ok? I mean we haven't heard even a peep from you since this nov'5 post & this is so uncharacteristic of yours. Hi! Has it really been since November? Ugh. I have been flummoxed by travel and holidays, complicated by missing my Dad (who passed away last year, so this time of year was doomed to be rough). I have been working on the epilogue. I've got an 11,000 word not-quite-finished draft I've been trying to wrap up for you all soon. Writing has been slow. :S

Hi there! So glad to know everything's ok! No pressure intended at all, you know (we'll wait however long it takes; you need space and time to craft such amazingness of a fic). Just wanted to make sure you were all right, and I'm happy to know it is so.

(PS: I get it about your father; I lost mine several years ago, and I don't like to revisit that period but it just is right there in your face at times like holidays and gatherings. Here's hoping that your family stays close to comfort each other whenever necessary; that helps the healing...)

I'm so sorry you've lost your father, too. You're so right about the holidays. Everything comes back up to the surface. It's been a quiet holiday season with just me and my mum, but we've got through it. Thank you for your kindness and sympathy. I hope you & your family are well and enjoying the new year. <3

I did finally finish ITWOS, so of you're looking for some reading, it is done. A little more melancholy than I had planned, but I think that was inevitable.
