Yes, I think Kurt needs a lot of space to get to a place where he can be comfortable addressing stuff with Blaine, but I think he meant it when he said he was never saying goodbye, so he's successfully resisted a terrible knee jerk response, and that gives me hope! Blaine, obviously, has a lot of work to do, both within himself and in his relationship with Kurt. I think they will have to rebuild their relationship from its foundations. I have faith they can do it. I expect they'll return to being friends for a while first.
